Tommy Gate offers the Model 650 liftgate with 650 lbs capacity. The Model 650 is installed completely inside the van. This liftgate is for van models where a traditionally outside-mounted liftgate cannot be installed, or when the operator prefers to have the entire liftgate contained within the van's body. The Model 650 is mounted on special brackets that attach to the top of the door frame and floor of the cargo van body. A direct-action hydraulic cylinder raises and lowers the folding platform.

The Model 650 is mounted inside the van using brackets on the top and bottom of the liftgate's mast. All components of the liftgate are contained within the van's body.

The standard Remote Pendant Control has a toggle style switch with an ABS plastic shield. To help prevent unauthorized use, the timer deactivates the control 90 seconds after last operation.

Tommy Gate's Model 650 liftgates are compatible with many frame-mounted receiver-style trailer hitches
